Accounts Manager wanted
This position is responsible for managing a group of fulfillment accounts, learning about our third party warehouse services, and working with a diverse employee group to establish, and maintain positive performance measure relative to workflow and output on the production floor and customer satisfaction. Works collaboratively with other Accounts Managers to meet the company’s expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with assigned customers Independently manage a business base in excess of $50k per month ? Operate as co-lead of a facility. Provides excellent customer service to the assigned fulfillment accounts. Manages the workflow of receiving, pick-pack and shipping with the team lead and floor workers. Provides oversite to meeting customer expectations. Ensures quality checks on work performed. Assures inventory integrity. Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with diverse employee group. Establish positive, collaborative balance of peer/supervisor with all team members within the facility. Work with team to perform receiving, inventory control, pick and pack, accessorial services/application to products and shipping for assigned customers. Correctly receive all product from assigned customer in a timely and organized manner. Inventory control of all product; including setup, movement of product, accountability for product counts and reconciliation of products counts. Picking and Packing of all product; including establishing an efficient picking process that meets efficiency standards and quality control. Correctly following customer instructions and routing guides for packing and shipping of product. Learn and operate company Warehouse Management Software for all fulfillment transactions; inventory management, BOL preparations, pick tickets, packing slips, etc. Learn and operate 3PL Warehouse Management Software for all fulfillment transactions; inventory management, BOL preparations, pick tickets, packing slips, etc. Learn and operate customer’s Inventory Management System as applicable to our needs and uses. Participate in daily meetings with facility and account manager to ensure work flow is completed timely and accurately. Resolve all customer issues as they arise. Participate in developing and improving efficiency standards for each account. Work collaboratively with other Accounts Managers to solve production, performance, quality and customer issues. All other duties as assigned General: 5 or more years of warehouse and logistics experience. Self-motivated and disciplined team player with strong communication, interpersonal, and delegation skills. Must be able to lift, carry and transport materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Knowledge and experience working with warehouse and materials handling equipment. Basic computer knowledge of Windows and MS Office. Must be able to work any shift, any schedule and any day of the week. Maintains a professional positive attitude. Maintain clean and organized work area. Works with production personnel. Abide by company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma, some College or equivalent work experience preferred but not required. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to communicate effectively customers, office, and plant personnel using verbal and written communication. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform basic calculations using addition subtraction, multiplication and division. Must be able to use a 10 key calculator. COMPUTER SKILLS: Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office applications (or equivalent).
