The Assistant Plant Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager. As the Assistant Plant Manager, you will ensure that all orchard related functions are executed effectively and assist in the management of employees.
Supervise packing and shipping department
Possess electro/mechanical experience with knowledge of computers
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair various equipment in facility, mechanical aptitude
Instruct personnel on packing instructions following USDA guidelines
Assist management and office staff with packing schedules and customer needs
Perform preventive maintenance on various equipment
Maintains department documentation and Maintenance History records
Maintain inventory and ordering of supplies
Review and revise customer orders
Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
Day shift / Monday to Friday / Overtime / Weekend availability
Experience:
Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
Management: 1 year (Preferred)
