Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Proposal Writing:
- Research federal, state, and foundation funding opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive grant proposals, work plans, and budgets.
- Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to align proposals with organizational goals.
- Compliance & Contract Oversight:
- Ensure the organization adheres to the terms and conditions set in each grant contract.
- Maintain detailed records for state agency compliance. Administrative support is available to assist in this area.
- Liaise with federal agencies when relevant, ensuring compliance and proper grant administration.
- Special Funding Initiatives:
- Proactively seek special funding avenues, such as emergency FEMA grants during crises like COVID-19.
- Assess the landscape of potential funding sources outside of traditional channels.
