A fresh face among the support staff at Coryer Staffing that helps RAMP do its thing.
A native of Plattsburgh, Leigh loves the Adirondacks and takes advantage of its wilderness by kayaking, camping, and surrounding herself with the beauty of the woods.
The North Country offers much to kiddos growing up among its rivers, lakes, and thick forests. As a former teaching assistant in special education, Leigh has been front and center in helping its younger generations succeed. For high schoolers who are graduating “without a plan,” options can feel limited. Leigh strongly believes that teens “need an option other than college” to bolster their skill sets and help them decide what’s next – that’s where RAMP comes in.
Her passion and dedication to working with high schoolers bring extra-strong energy to the RAMP program. The thing she’s most excited about is presenting in schools and connecting with the kids. She’s worked with many who “could have used RAMP,” she says. Her sleeves are rolled up, and she’s ready to work sharing that option now.
