Machine Operator
Location: Plattsburgh, NY (initial training in Canada)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day shift
Type: Full-time
Pay: $20/hour
About the Role
Our client’s specialty manufacturing team needs a Machine Operator to set up, run, and maintain precision-cutting equipment. You’ll train at their Canadian facility before transitioning to their Plattsburgh plant. This hands-on role offers full support, development opportunities, and a safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities

Review and verify work orders

Install blades, spacers, and cores; preheat and calibrate equipment

Feed material through the machine; monitor dimensions and fine-tune settings

Trim, tape, label, and log finished products’ yardage

Clean blades and perform basic machine maintenance

Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized
Qualifications

1+ year of manufacturing or machine-operation experience

Basic math skills and ability to follow detailed instructions

Strong attention to detail and time-management

Passport required for initial training in Canada

Forklift experience or certification is a plus
