About the Role:
A leading hospitality property in the Essex area is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join its facilities team. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys hands-on work across multiple trades, from carpentry and HVAC to plumbing and electrical. Certification in any specialty trade is a plus and will be compensated accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform skilled work in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, structural, and pool systems

Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair heating/cooling systems

Conduct carpentry work for repairs and remodeling
-
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
-
Perform basic plumbing tasks: unclog drains, install fixtures, repair lines
-
Complete basic electrical tasks: replace switches, fuses, plugs
-
Light sprinkler repair and pool chemical testing
-
Maintain safety standards while lifting up to 50 lbs and using manual/electrical tools

Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external guests

Contribute to overall success of the facilities team and respond to additional requests as needed
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or related trades

Vocational/technical training a plus

Valid driver’s license required
-
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work with hand/power tools

Familiarity with trade-related software or mobile tools preferred
Schedule:
-
1st and 2nd shift coverage required

Weekend and holiday availability required
