Job Title: Office Administrator
Hourly Pay: $20/hr
Job Type: Full-Time- 8 am to 5 pm Monday-Friday
Job Summary:
Coryer Staffing is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our local client’s team. The ideal candidate will possess strong Microsoft Office skills and a solid understanding of office management and administrative functions, and excellent written and verbal skills. You will be responsible for maintaining a smooth and efficient office environment, supporting various departments, and ensuring that administrative tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to staff and management, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
- Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring that office equipment is maintained and stocked.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of documents, both physical and digital.
- Organize and maintain office systems, including filing systems, data entry, and document management.
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and manage general inquiries both in person and over the phone.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to create documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and reports.
- Handle general office tasks such as mail distribution, filing, faxing, and photocopying.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an office administrator or in a related administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in all administrative tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a similar office environment.
- Familiarity with office management software (e.g., Google Suite, Slack, etc.) is a plus.
- Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
