The Role: Cellar Technician

Full-Time | Westport, NY | $20.00/hour+

This isn't a pour-and-smile gig. You'll be in the cellar, in the vineyard, in the lab — learning every step of how great wine gets made. If you've ever wanted to build a career in craft winemaking, this is a rare entry point.

What You'll Do

• Operate and maintain cellar equipment

• Manage fermentations, pump-overs, barrel filling, and racking

• Assist with harvesting, aging, and bottling operations

• Perform lab analysis and manage wine additions

• Handle inventory, purchase orders, and database entry

• Engage with customers and guests

• Train on vineyard and spray equipment

• Pitch in on off-season property projects

What You'll Need

• Able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, work outdoors in all weather

• Willing to put in extended hours during harvest and bottling season

• Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft Office)

• Valid driver's license and clean background check

• Fluent in English
