Position Overview:
As the HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team to ensure all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable codes.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, service, and repair HVAC systems

Troubleshoot issues and provide timely, effective solutions

Conduct routine preventative maintenance to optimize performance

Perform inspections and testing to meet safety standards

Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation

Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used

Collaborate with maintenance and facilities staff on repairs and special projects

Remain up to date on HVAC best practices, codes, and safety regulations
Qualifications:

Valid HVAC certification (EPA 608 required)

Experience with heat pumps preferred

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on HVAC experience

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and procedures

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces

No on-call hours required
