Job Title: Industrial Methods Manager
Location: Plattsburgh, NY (potential travel to Canada, including overnight)
Salary: $105,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year

This is a critical leadership role focused on optimizing complex manufacturing processes. You will lead a dedicated team to develop, implement, and continuously improve industrial methods that enhance productivity, quality, and safety. This role requires collaboration with US and Canadian teams, including potential travel to Canada.
Core Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the industrial methods team, setting performance KPIs and supporting professional growth.

Process Industrialization: Lead the industrialization of new products, defining and validating all manufacturing methods, tools, jigs, and standardized work instructions.

Optimization & Design: Design and optimize plant layouts, workstation ergonomics, and material flow to improve efficiency and safety.

Continuous Improvement: Analyze manufacturing processes to reduce waste and enhance quality.

Collaboration: Act as the key liaison between engineering, production, quality, and supply chain to ensure seamless integration of new methods.
Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Required: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial methods, or process improvement.

Required: Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and/or cross-functional projects.

Required: A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills for cross-border collaboration.

Preferred: Experience in automotive, transportation, or complex assembly manufacturing.

Preferred: Lean Six Sigma certification.

Preferred: Familiarity with CAD, ERP, and MES systems.
