Position Title: Line Cook

Overview: Coryer Staffing is recruiting a skilled Line Cook for a client in Plattsburgh, NY. This position requires preparing quality meals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction under the direction of the Kitchen Manager.

Responsibilities:

Maintain high standards of personal cleanliness and wear the appropriate uniform.
Efficiently use, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment and storage areas.
Manage and rotate food stocks on the cooking line.
Prepare menu items according to established standards, ensuring food safety.
Address guest requests and kitchen issues promptly and professionally.
Keep open lines of communication with the management team and peers about any operational challenges or needs.

Qualifications:

Knowledge in food safety, kitchen sanitation, and customer service.
Strong verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Able to work under pressure during busy periods.
High level of mobility and flexibility; able to lift up to 50 pounds and engage in physical activities like reaching, bending, and standing continuously.
