Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: Plattsburgh area, NY (Regional)
Position Type: Full-Time, First Shift
Schedule: Approximately 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Requires on-call availability)
Target Compensation: $25.00 per hour + (Depending on experience)
Job Summary: On behalf of our client, a leading hospitality provider in the Plattsburgh area, Coryer Staffing is looking for an accountability-driven Maintenance Technician to join their property team. This role is responsible for ensuring the physical functionality, safety, and general upkeep of guest rooms, common areas, and exterior facility grounds.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance throughout guest rooms and facility grounds.

Troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical and HVAC/air conditioning systems.

Handle general facility repairs, minor plumbing, and everyday upkeep typical of a commercial hospitality environment.

Oversee and maintain the safety and chemistry of the property's pool (fully paid certification training will be provided by the client).

Remain flexible to respond to building needs during scheduled on-call rotations.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in general facility maintenance, building trades, or hotel operations is highly preferred.

Practical, basic working knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems is required.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and independent, reliable transportation.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal daily supervision.
