Medical Assistant

$20.00 – $24.00 per hour
Full-time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Coryer Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant for a busy, well-established office in South Burlington. The ideal candidate has previous experience as a medical assistant or LPN in order to conduct both clinical and administrative aspects of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist providers during exams, procedures, and patient visits, and administer vaccines
- Obtain vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and reconcile medications
- Prepare patients for visits by completing pre-visit paperwork
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized and full stocked
- Coordinate diagnostic testing and referrals as directed by providers
- Schedule appointments, process copays, and handle patient messages
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or LPN
- High School diploma or GED
