As an Outdoor Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to load and unload trucks, move products within the yard, and maintain organized storage areas. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts outdoors, strong attention to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks with materials, products, or equipment in the outdoor yard area.

Move products and materials within the yard to designated storage areas or loading docks using the forklift.

Ensure all products and materials are handled safely and securely to prevent damage during transportation or storage.

Maintain organized storage areas and ensure products are stored in designated locations according to inventory management procedures.

Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure safe operation of the forklift and prevent accidents or injuries.

Conduct pre-shift inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Assist with other duties as needed, including general labor tasks or inventory management.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license and certification to operate a forklift.

Proven experience operating a forklift outdoors in a yard or similar environment.

Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures for operating a forklift outdoors.
