Pipe Fitter (HDPE)

We are looking for an experienced Large Pipe Fitter with specialized knowledge in HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) piping systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with HDPE pipes, fittings, and fusion techniques, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine HDPE pipe layouts and configurations.

  • Measure, cut, and fuse HDPE pipes to required specifications using fusion techniques such as butt fusion, electrofusion, or socket fusion.

  • Assemble and install HDPE piping systems including fittings, valves, and other components.

  • Perform pressure testing and other quality control checks on HDPE piping systems to ensure proper installation and functionality.

  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues with HDPE piping systems, making necessary repairs and adjustments.

  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure HDPE pipe installations are completed on time and according to specifications.

  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter, Large Pipe Fitter, or similar role with a focus on HDPE piping systems.

  • Extensive experience working with HDPE pipes, fittings, and fusion techniques.

  • Strong technical skills and ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

  • Fusion certification or experience preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.

  • Commitment to safety and following established procedures and guidelines.

Pay Rate: $22 to $25 per hour
