Job Title: Preventative Maintenance Machine Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Preventative Maintenance Machine Technician to join our client's manufacturing team. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance on production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on a variety of manufacturing machinery and equipment.

Inspect machines for wear and tear, identifying potential problems before they lead to equipment failure.

Replace or repair worn parts such as belts, hoses, filters, sensors, and bearings.

Lubricate and clean equipment as part of routine maintenance.

Document all maintenance activities in accordance with company procedures.

Respond promptly to machine breakdowns to support production uptime.

Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to identify process improvement opportunities.

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

1+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing equipment maintenance (required).

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting.

Physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various plant environments.
