Production Supervisor

Coryer Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our client's team.
In this role, the Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day to day operations to ensure production goals are met efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all legal and quality standards. This role involves managing the production workflow, supervising labor, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the timely completion and delivery of products. The Production Supervisor will also be instrumental in improving production processes, training employees, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, and supporting both project managers and engineers with technical documentation and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Workflow & Labor Management:

    • Supervise and manage daily production operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of all tasks.
    • Monitor labor requirements and allocate resources efficiently to meet production goals.
    • Ensure quality standards are met by monitoring production processes and making necessary adjustments.
  • Production Scheduling & Delivery:

    • Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring parts requirements are met and delivery deadlines are achieved.
    • Collaborate with project managers to ensure production schedules align with customer needs.
  • Process Improvement & Tool Development:

    • Identify opportunities to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
    • Develop internal tools to optimize production processes.
  • Employee Training & Development:

    • Train new employees on work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
    • Provide ongoing training and development to ensure staff remain aligned with production best practices.
  • Troubleshooting & Support:

    • Support project managers and other departments with troubleshooting customer issues or production challenges.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams on analysis and solutions when needed.
  • Technical Documentation:

    • Write and maintain technical documentation related to production processes and customer requests, including procedures and reports
  • Equipment Maintenance:

    • Ensure regular maintenance is performed on Fuji SEMEC Corp equipment and other production machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Staffing & HR Responsibilities:

    • Manage staffing levels and personnel performance 
    • Communicate job expectations and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Safety & Compliance:

    • Ensure OSHA compliance and foster a safe and secure working environment for all employees and visitors.
    • Regularly assess and improve safety protocols to mitigate potential risks.
  • Additional Duties:

    • Perform any other duties as assigned by management to support production and company goals.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • High School Diploma or GED, required. 
  • Experience:

    • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management.
    • Proven track record of managing production workflows, scheduling, and staff.
    • Experience with troubleshooting technical issues and supporting engineering teams.
  • Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
    • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing best practices, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
    • Proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
    • Experience with production equipment, including maintenance procedures.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, as required.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to industrial machinery and equipment.

This is a full time, day shift role and pay will be based on experience and starting at $28/hr.
