Strategic Demand Planner & Business Analyst
Location: Plattsburgh, NY (On behalf of our client – Coryer Staffing)
Salary: Starting at $65,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting & Analysis:

Build and maintain rolling demand forecasts by SKU, category, and region

Analyze historical trends, promotions, and seasonality to refine accuracy

Performance Monitoring:

Track forecast accuracy metrics (MAPE, bias) and recalibrate models
-
Identify gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Reporting & Insights:

Develop dashboards and regular reports for leadership

Present data-driven recommendations to support S&OP and budgeting

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align plans

Support planning meetings and ensure alignment with business objectives

What You Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field
-
3–5+ years in demand planning, forecasting, or business analysis
-
Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred
-
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and clear communication
-
Manufacturing or food-safety background is a plus
